Abortion is not health care.
This January marks the 34th anniversary
of Roe v. Wade. We mourn over 48
million unborn children who have lost their lives to abortion in the United
States.
Abortion
is not “healthy” or “care” – not for women and certainly not for their
unborn children.
When
discussing the alleged loss of “women’s health care services” by closing
certain hospitals, or supporting (even funding) institutions and organizations
that engage in abortion and abortion advocacy, remember the unborn women who don’t
leave abortion facilities or certain hospitals alive.
There are hospitals that treat all
patients – not just the chosen. Only
lucky, chosen babies survive hospitals that perform abortions.
Over half of all women in the United States now
oppose abortion in all or nearly all circumstances. If unborn women could speak that number would be even more
compelling.
Abortion is an elective procedure that ends the life
of a baby and is associated with a greater instance of depression, suicide,
substance abuse and other social problems for women.
The high incidence of repeat abortion in New York
State speaks to the alarming reality that abortion is used as a method of birth
control.
Abortion is never “safe” for an unborn child.
Health care saves and improves lives.
It’s time to stop funding the killing of children and put state
resources into real health care.
Abortion is not “reproductive health care.”
Hospitals should be used for true medical needs; birth is
not a “problem.”
Abortion is not health care.
